Information & Directions for the Next Roundtable Meeting

The next quarterly meeting of the Potomac Watershed Roundtable will be Friday, January 6th, 2012 at in Warrenton. It will be held in The Barns at Lord Fairfax Community College. The meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m., with registration and refreshments beginning at 9:30 a.m.

(The Potomac Council will meet 9:00am to 9:50am, prior to the Roundtable meeting)

Meeting Highlights:

Jeff Corbin, Senior Advisor to the Administrator for the Chesapeake Bay, will talk about EPA's Expectations for Local Governments' Involvement in Bay Restoration.

Olivia Devereaux, Environmental Scientist, Interstate Commission on the Potomac River Basin, will describe the Virginia Assessment Scenario Tool (VAST), on-line tool to develop alternative BMP implementation scenarios and to serve as a mechanism to report that information to the state.

Normand Goulet, with the Northern Virginia Regional Commission, will talk about a potential regional response to Virginia's Phase II WIP.
